MEET THE TEAM

JEFF SEGURA
Jeff is the Founder and CEO of Co-Create Strategies, where he leads creative direction across photography, video, and production.
A Houston native from Alief and the son of Guatemalan immigrants, Jeff’s work is rooted in community, culture, and story. He’s been behind the camera since 2015, building his craft through connection, conversation, and a genuine curiosity about people and the lives they’re living.
What started as documenting moments quickly turned into a deeper pursuit of storytelling. Today, that shows up in everything from campaign work to citywide content, always with the same goal: capture something real.
Outside of work, he’s a girl dad, a former award-winning dad blogger, and still just as likely to be found with a camera nearby, ready to document whatever story is unfolding.

ASHLEY SEGURA
Ashley is a creative strategist focused on building marketing that resonates and drives action.
Her work sits at the intersection of storytelling, cultural insight, and audience behavior. She approaches strategy holistically, looking beyond what a brand is saying to understand who it’s speaking to, what they value, and what will move them to act.
Her background in advocacy shaped how she approaches the work. From mobilizing Latino voters in Texas to developing campaigns rooted in trust and community, she learned early that the most overlooked audiences are often the most influential.
Before agency leadership, Ashley built her foundation as a content creator, partnering with brands like Walmart and General Mills to reach Latino audiences. That experience reinforced what research has long shown: connection comes from understanding culture, not demographics.
Today, she co-leads Co-Create Strategies, guiding multi-platform campaigns for nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and purpose-driven initiatives. She has also gained experience in publishing marketing through Penguin Random House, deepening her understanding of how stories are positioned, discovered, and brought to the right audiences.
At the core, her work is grounded in a simple belief: story is infrastructure. When you understand your audience, you don’t just market to them. You build trust with them.
